🏅 We have a bronze medal winner amongst us! Alexander has been recognized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) with the Accolades for Technical Excellence MML 2024 for his contribution to the work on entangled two-photon absorption for “refuting published claims about quantum-enhanced microscopy” – leading to the 2023 US Department of Commerce Bronze Medal Award. Alex and his team challenged previous findings and set new, more precise bounds on entangled two-photon absorption cross sections in common fluorophores.
